I made a custom oil pan with the deep sump close to the firewall end.  Made
from aluminum it is also lighter than the stock steel pan.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Oiling considerations on an incline?

Good afternoon everyone,

I'm considering putting a rotary engine on a Barrows Bearhawk, a 2500- pound high-wing tailwheel aircraft, and I was wondering if there are  any concerns regarding lubrication of the engine when it's on a  mounted at  a pretty good angle.  In flight, when it's level, I'm  confident that there wouldn't be any problems.  Just wondering if  there is anything additional to consider when at idle, taxi, etc.

Many thanks and best regards,
Chris
