Why?
 
For aircraft you're not (as) concerned with lag compared to a street or track vehicle....
 
Just keep it simple and run one turbo sized for the job (Many street vehicles use a small turbo to spin up rapidly for momentary boost when needed).   Decent book on Turbo's is Street Turbocharging by Mark Warner.  (Now only if I can talk him into walking away from rebuilding old Land Rovers and start building a Bearhawk.... Hey at least there is a chapter on the turbo RV7 in there!)

Has anyone tried the dual turbo installation in their AC  Do they hold up?  I know they were using them in some racing applications, and I am trying (again) to determine which is the best way to go here.....
