Hi
Charlie,
That is an interesting
drive, but mostly for the clutch. Funny thing is that I almost
bought a clutch for my Rotax 582, in order to yank start the thing without
worrying about it running away from me before I could get in the gyro. In
the end, I just ordered an electric starter, but I was wondering if the clutch
would help with the low rpm shakes that the single rotor has.
Just today, I got a new
damper for my current Autoflight drive. It's made by Centa, and only comes
in two hardness's. I had the hardest one (shore 60) originally, and just
got the only other choice (shore 50). It will be interesting to see how
much difference it makes, but I haven't gotten around to fixing my intake
yet.
