Greetings,

I think most of the pros and cons of each method have come out.  FWIW, I'm
an electronics tech, and have soldered connections since I was a kid working
on my own R/C equipment.  Only in the past couple years have I used crimped
D-Sub pins.  I will say here and now that I will NEVER solder another connector of this
type unless it's absolutely necessary.  When I got my last EM-2 and EC-2, I
just threw those connectors in the junk box.  The crimped pins are know to
be reliable (quality crimper and pins from http://www.bandcspecialty.com/),
and the speed and consistency of your work will be much improved. It costs
more, but it's worth every penny.  In my opinion of course :-)

Cheers,
Rusty (wings will be mounted by Sunday)
