Thanks Al, I agree it seems awful thin. However, I will be using it downstream of the Turbo (and after a foot of 321 pipe).  I want to use it to absorb vibration, movement and expansion on the way to the new muffler that I am installing (flowmaster).  

 

If I get 200 hrs out of it between replacement, I would consider that a success.  Although I may want to think of a new way to attach it rather than having to weld it on every 200 hrs.  Something like this clamp may be an option:

 

 

The turbo would certainly remove most pulse stress, and drop the temps; so could be fine.  Yes, I think 200 hours would be a success – I don’t expect the .065“ 321 SS internals of my secondary muffler to last that long.

 

Nice clamps.  Maybe that and some of that exhaust repair stuff that comes in a tube to seal things up.
