Greetings,

Well, now that I have the temps, the next question is- how bad are they?  How high does the air temp have to be before it becomes a serious concern?  Anyone have any idea?

Thanks,
Rusty

Went out to measure the intake air temps after the turbo.  The prop is at 14 degrees, and I wrote the rpm’s down, but I think the prop is probably partially stalled, so I wouldn’t count on them being correct.

Ambient temp, and intake air temp when first started- 90

Ran at 22” MAP to warm up, then started taking temps when it stabilized

MAP / temp F / RPM

22” / 105 / 3000

20” / 128 / 4225

30” / 167 / 5000

36” / 196 / 5500

40” / 214 / 5700

44” / 228 / 5800

50” a couple seconds, no temps or RPM, but no loud expensive noises either
