RV10. Skinny front tapered to the firewall. The sides are lower pressure
than the nose on a conventional cowl. In this arrangement I think NACA's
may work well.

Bobby, what are you building?  The cowl sides are a very low pressure
area on a conventional fuselage.  So low in fact that they're often
recommended as the best area for the radiator exits.
