Here are a few pics of my test stand and fwf mockup. I am considering two radiators by the firewall with NACA's feeding them from the side. This would eliminate the scoop under the nose. I believe one of the ducts could be angled for climb attitude. Visualize the rotary cowl without the scoop using NACA's on the side for cooling.
Bobby, what are you building? The cowl sides are a very low pressure area on a conventional fuselage. So low in fact that they're often recommended as the best area for the radiator exits.
