Bill,
The dish is 2mm deeper and the holes could be redrilled and it looks like
it's 320mm as well! Less mucking around by getting the right one. I will
check on an RX8 to confirm your suspicions.

I have a flexplate that I suspect is an RX-8 unit, but I am not 100% sure.

         Here is a picture.

         It measures 1.350" from front to back surfaces. The bolt circle
for the torque converter is about 10.25" (too big).
