My pump is much more powerfull (pulse wise) than the stock pump. It buzzes
loud enough to hear above the engine at idle (2,000 RPM). I was not aware of the
above warning.
The hose and fittings (dash 12) between the pump and the filter stand has
been in place for
7 years without a problem. The pump uses a pressure section similar in size
to a big block Chevy. I suppose I should change that particular piece of hose,
just to be sure there are no problems.
