Greetings,

Lynn, you said you were running the blue Aeroquip hose (assuming this is marked FC332), and that it was on your oil pressure loop.  You aren't using a stock oil pump are you?  Would your pump have the same violent pulses that the stock pump used to kill my old evap core cooler?

Todd,  is the Parker stuff you're using the same as the Aeroquip FC332?  You are using this with a stock oil pump I presume.  I looked up Parker #836 and found that it doesn't have the same disclaimer, so maybe it's not really the same hose.

The reason I ask is that the specs on the FC332 hose say "Not recommended for hydraulic impulse applications".  I'm wondering if that rules out use for oil pressure in our case.  On the single rotor installation, the only oil pressure hose is coming from the front cover, to the filter pedestal, and I'm wondering if I should just use normal high pressure hose instead of the socketless stuff.

Thanks,
Rusty (gotta mount that muffler today)
