I decline to answer that question on the grounds that a particular one of them might find out about it.
 
After I read the drawing and explain it. Suggest optional material, or a completely different solution to the problem. Contact the correct military engineers to request comments and suggestions, compile the total compendium of possible outcomes, and suggest the few that make sense, and write up the the history of the complaint, with the number of varaints and total end items affected. Collect suggestions from trusted commercial outlets with history in the area, and estimate costs for typical quantities of expected procurements. Include machine time costs and PPI data to construct a cost estimate, and assist in wording
(write it for her) the answer. A normal person would become bitter. But not me. I retired.
 
I only deal with one of that group now, and she is way smarter than me. As God intended.
