Subject: [FlyRotary] TES O-rings
again
Ed Anderson and Perry Mick,
I have contacted Chuck
Dunlap about his use of the TES O-rings in his
rotor oil seals..........He got the TES O-rings from Paul L. and the
sizes were
what Paul called out at that time.......I am looking for further size
and/or
operational info I can get from anyone using the TES O-rings in the
rotor
seals........Chuck said that he thought that both of you were currently
using
them in your engines........I would appreciate input you can give
concerning
their use in your flying engines.........
I recently shipped a 13B side
housing to "Creavey Seal" to settle once
and for all the question of sizes for the coolent TES O-ring
seals........ I know
that there is some question in the group as to the need
for them particularly
the outer coolent seal as it does not see as much heat as the inner
seal.......
The choice as to the use of these
seals is up to the individual........I just
want to make sure that the correct size information is available
to all of the
Rotary group.........
I now have correct size information for the
coolent TES O-rings and the
last piece of the puzzle is verification of the rotor oil seal TES O-ring
sizes !!
All info to this point indicates that the oil
seal sizes that Paul L. called
out are correct........When all is verified I will stick my neck out and
publish
my findings !! FWIW
