wondering what the rpm would be if the drive
let go at full throttle
Ouch! Doesn't bear thinking about.
Congratulations, Dave, on a series of excellent
decisions resulting in very successful day.
I know that George Graham broke "stock transmission
redrive" by running on one rotor, but this is the first RWS drive failure from
it. Makes me wonder if I should inspect the internals of my redrive, or if I'd
spot any telltale signs when I do. Mines an RD-1A and has always had about 3/4
inch of play at the prop tip.
