I know that George Graham broke "stock transmission redrive" by running on one rotor, but this is the first RWS drive failure from it. Makes me wonder if I should inspect the internals of my redrive, or if I'd spot any telltale signs when I do. Mines an RD-1A and has always had about 3/4 inch of play at the prop tip.
