Should I: a) Remove and replace gasket?

               b) Remove and coat gasket with high temp RTV?

               c) Throw away all three gaskets and use only high temp RTV?

               d)  None of the above and ignore the leak?

I have been doing "C" since the 80's with just 100% GE silicone bath tub calk. No problems yet.

 

Keep it away from the hole about 3/8".

 

Let a 1/16" thick layer gel up about 10 minutes before you put it on.
