And as an addendum:

How to make fuel injector bosses if you don't have a lathe. File down the edge on a standard plumber's tube cutter.  Run it around a piece of 5/8"x.035 tube so that it make a ridge on the inside.  Run one ridge to just have a press on boss.  Run two ridges to have the boss 'capture' the o-ring.

I'm working on a method to make bosses out of 1/2" tube (cause I have some in stainless laying around).  My current thinking is a rubber spindle on a bolt.  Crank it down till the steel expands a bit.
