[FlyRotary] Re: Coot
Empty weight is 1800 lbs, I
lift off water up to 2800 lbs and off land at 3200 lbs.
Static rpm is 6200 without NOS and at
rotation it turning 6800 rpm which I would guess is about 180 hp, I
have 100 hp nitrous jets in it and it turns about 7200 rpm when I hit
the nitrous button so I am guessing at about 300 hp when on
nitrous.

Hi! Ken
What does your Coot weigh? What Hp do you
think your 13b is putting out?

Coot
Not a
question of distance as it wont takeoff without NOS with two people,
solo and light on fuel I can get it on the step but its a long
struggle, I normally only use the nitrous for about a 3 second
burst to get it on the step and then it will get up and fly on its own
but if its rough water or a tight spot will lean on it
longer.
I don't know
where data on the silicone fluid but its known that it wont hurt
anything, you can wax your car with it if you
want.

Hi! Ken
What is your Coot's take off
distance with & without NOS? Where do I find the info dot 5

Not Use Auto Brake Fluid
I use dot 5 silicone auto fluid and it works fine as
it is compatible with any system and I like it as it wont eat up my
fiberglass hull in the event of a leek.
