Where
are your injectors going to be?

Primary injectors are going to be stock - in the Center side housing. I
am going to use a fabricated fuel rail that uses the major parts of the
stock primary fuel rail (it bolts right on in the right place) but the
fabrication involves putting threaded fittings on where the stock uses
slip on hoses.
The secondaries.. that will be determined a little later.. depending on
cowl space and clearance from the block, etc. I want to put them within
6 inches of the block if at all possible, closer the better, but want
them to be in a relatively cool location. Top side versus bottom of the
runners doesnt matter to me as of yet. Top would be easier to access. I
am aversive to having them positioned where any kind of fuel leak could
drip on the exhaust manifold, and all of it needs to be shielded from
radiant heat from the exhaust manifold.
I spent part of the evening cutting off the ends of a stock primary and
secondary fuel rail and will weld in some AN fittings on the end of
both rails. The fuel pressure regulator will likely be on the firewall,
and I have yet to determine where the hoses will be plumbed.
