yes, the 85lb is just the block as it is running now. The FF, dry, will be 170lb. Keep in mind it is 12A based. The 13B based will be a bit heavier.

Do you have a weight for all of your redrive components?  I'm trying to get a comparison to Tracy's 45 lbs weight, which includes everything but the flex plate itself (I assume).  When you add the Hirth drive, mounting plate and hardware, input shaft, drive coupling mechanism, what does it come to?  
 
I think I guessed that would all be about 30 lbs.  Tracy's drive could fairly easily be reduced to about 40 lbs, and possibly a bit lower if weight becomes critical.  Fortunately, it's not critical for me at the moment.  It's also yet to be seen how the RD-1C will cope with the pulse frequency of the single rotor near idle.  There may well be some dampener durometer modification to be done.  I won't know until I fire it up, which should be around the end of the Summer.
