its time for some peer review.....
Who
was it that asked for pictures of my air filter
installation?
The
alternate air source is a simple hinged flap which opens inward and has a lip to
seal it and stop it opening outward. The theory is that the flap will close when
the plenum is pressurized. If the air filter gets blocked, then the pressure
change will open the flap and the turbo will draw air from inside the cowl.
