Hum-m-m.  I guess we’ll keep an eye on that.  The silicone hoses are considered an upgrade because of higher temp and strength characteristics.  I’m not aware of any compatibility problems with EG.  A quote from one vender - With aggressive driving comes very high water temps that really push the limits of the stock radiator hoses. Silicone hoses are a upgrade that will help keep your engine safe at high operating temps. Silicone is durable and more resistant to bursting and cracking.

 

I’ve pressure tested mine to 40 psi with no leaks.

Tracy is running this hose for since the Renesis installation and has not experienced any problems that I'm aware of. He also uses the shrink connectors which really makes a neat looking installation.
