[FlyRotary] Re: EC-2 Breakers
Al,
Since you’re
running the same basic engine & electrical system as I am, can you tell me
what size breakers you used for your coils (assuming you separated them into 3
- leading, and 3 - trailing). Also, I would appreciate the same for the
injectors and fuel pumps (walbro).
Mark
Mark;
I run fuses for the injectors and coils,
and yes, they are separated leading, trailing and pri, sec. I had 15 A
for each circuit until John (or someone) blew a 15 amp fuse in the coil
circuit, so I went to 20 A for the coils. Also currently have 15 A for
the fuel pump 2 (backup) and run a 10 A breaker for pump 1. Probably a
bit of overkill on the fuses, but because of the long runs in my canard I’m
running #16 wire, so it is still good protection.
Hope this helps,
Al
