The oxygen in your welding bottle is the same oxygen in a medical oxygen or aviation oxygen.
They used to all be made by different processes, to different standards. But that was a long time ago. Today, they are all drawn from exactly the same tank.
Just in case you didn't know (got that from the old guy at Avweb that like to talk about running lean of peak and that fancy engine monitor thing).
