Well they say misery loves company, but I don't want to think of what replacing 3 lycoming cylinders would cost.  That's one thing (overleaning) you wont' have to worry about with the rotary.  No valves to burn, no cylinder heads to crack.

Ed - so you don't feel alone in your suffering,  I'm here waiting to hear the cost to have 3 of my cracked cylinders welded.  It's the mere 700 hrs since new that hurts the most.  Apparently I fly my bird too hard, because there are no other good explanations other than blaming it on the Jeff rose ignition.(too newfangled!),  Bill Benedict told me that at power settings below 75% that I couldn't overlean my engine.  I think I have proved him wrong.  Premier Engines experts say don't lean below 5,000'.  I tried to keep egt's at 1330, but will pay the price now.  At $3/gal maybe I'm still ahead :-)
