Hi, Todd....I ordered one and received it. It appears to be a quality item. Unfortunately, I have not yet installed it.  (Yes, it is very easy to install)  I just finished installing my new NACA duct and intake plenum, so as soon as UPS delivers the 3 inch scat tubing to connect the two together, I will fly it, record temps and then will try the finned oil filter wrap and record those temps to see if it makes any difference. To install it now would not be practical, as I would have no base line temps to compare the before/after with.   Paul Conner

Subject: [FlyRotary] Coolant filters & Cool Can

Awhile back we'd discussed the "Cool Can" oil filter cooler. I know the consensus was that it wouldn't work, but IIRC, someone on the list actually ordered one to try. As we all know that the EWP also couldn't possibly work, I'm curious as to the result of the "Cool Can" use? Anybody know?
There was also discussion about a coolant filter, and IIRC, someone also ordered one of these to try. Any further info?
