Dave,

I was using Huxley seals sold by Dave Atkins.  The engine rebuilt by myself in Dec 2000, first flew in Feb 2001 and currently has 150 hours on it.
I am using a 1991 turbo block (sans turbo) with EC2 and the 2.85 redrive from Tracy.  Never too early to speculate - so long as you are willing to change the speculation once data is presented {:>)

Engine has been doing beautifully, so something I did since the last flight is the cause.  Those two things were:

1.  Changed type of spark plug from stock to the B9EQV
2.  Flew with a new Plastic plenum (third time I have used a plastic plenum with no previous problems).
3.  For the first ever flying to Florida - I had a Tail wind - but doubtful that had much bearing on the situation {:>)

Ed
If Ed's not there, can someone tell me again why these plugs (B9EGV) are better.

Also Ed - I believe that Tracy Crooks Apex seals may have the edge (excuse the pun) on the Hurley apex seals and are cheaper.
