Don't have six tanks for extra fuel. 
 
 Only have 3. Two wing tanks of only 40 gallons. Could put more in the wings but it would make it tougher to handle with 3500 amphibs (a top secret speed mod to beat Tracy). The other 120 gallons would be in a ferry tank in the cabin. Some of the Murphy guys are putting fuel in a pod under the fuselage. More complicated plumbing.  Fuel is used up from the wings first. All fuel is returned to the wings. When down about 60 gallons, the ferry tank would be used. Getting the plumbing in now and anchor points for the ferry tank. A range of about 2000 miles. Can't make it to Hawaii tho...
