Where are your fuel pumps and filters located?  The air bleed is probably a good idea, but if your fuel feed to the pumps, and the pumps themselves are in a cool spot, then I can't see how the air bleed would be needed.

Hi, Rusty....my fuel pumps are mounted on one of the lower tubes of my motor mount, on the side of the engine where the spark plugs are.(opposite the hot exhaust side).  They are only a few inches from the firewall, near the bottom of the lower cowling.   Paul Conner
