They are only a few inches from = the firewall, near the bottom of the lower cowling. Where are your fuel pumps and = filters=20 located?  The air bleed is probably a good idea, but if your fuel = feed to=20 the pumps, and the pumps themselves are in a cool spot, then I can't = see how=20 the air bleed would be needed.
