Super cool job on the emergency landing,
Paul. You seem to have lots of good suggestions to check out, but if you are
interested in the Ellison unit, I have one you could use to play with. I have
lots of hours on several units in 0320 Lyc Long EZs and like them. I did some
product testing for Ben Ellison 20 years ago when the company was new. Some say
they will not support the 13B, but I don’t know why. They will certainly
flow enough fuel/air mixture to support 160hp or more on the 0320 Lyc. They do
not have a float bowl and will run right side up, upside down, or sideways (frontwards
or backwards also)
And only need fuel, a mixture control, and
slide throttle control. No power or programming required. If you want to borrow
the unit or ask questions, call 901 833 1630. Herb Sanders

Does an Ellison throttle body have injectors, or is it a
substitute for a carburetor? Paul Conner

I'll bet an Ellison Throttle Body could be made to work
also. Just a single one. Of course you'de need to construct
the custom intake manifold for it.
I don't care to have this much fun again
anytime soon. I'm torn between a carburetor and a Cessna. Paul
