USPS.com shows Global Guaranteed to Aus. at $181 for 25 lbs.
If you are shipping from the US, it might be worth reading up on the guarantee. (hint, hint)

Dave Leonard,
Yes that's reasonable - make sure that covers insurance and if it doesn't, the insurance may only be an extra $10 - $15 Aust.
That would be through Australia Post, really the only way to go in my opinion.
I am led to believe that it's even dearer to send things from the USA to Australia. George (down under)

Subject: [FlyRotary] Shipping from Australia
I just bought a TO4 manifold that I think will fit off of e-bay
but it is located in western Australia.

The problem is that the guy wants A LOT for shipping, here is what
he quoted including insurance.
AIR EXPRESS- 1 WEEK- $139.00AU AIR ECONOMY- 2 WEEKS- $118.00AU
BOAT- 12 WEEKS- $84.00AU
Each AU$ will cost me about $.80. But that still seems pretty
steep. The guy also wants a money order instead of some other way
to track the payment. Does this sound reasonable to those of you
who know about shipping from australia? Its there a better way to
make the payment? Anyone know of a better source for these manifolds?
Thanks,
Dave Leonard
