Charlie,
I did not mount mine on the plate, it was mounted after the fact of tank being sealed. If doing it today, think it would be in the same location, but put in before sealing the tanks. Select a spot where it comes thru the fuselage easily. On a tri gear, I put it in front of the gear a few inches. Tracy suggests running the line to the outboard end of the tank so that you can mix the fuel and oil if adding fuel at the pump by running the pumps a short time before you start the engine. I would drill holes for the return line large enough to thread the line thru to the outboard end.
Bernie, new injector should be here tomorrow

OK Tracy, I'll take some of this action: "I couldn't resist the cold air yesterday and went flying locally. Felt like the power was unlimited! I could climb at 1000 fpm at 200 mph. No exciting stories though, all was wonderfully "boring"."
