At continous full power steep climbs is where the problem has shown up.  
 
For whatever it's worth, we climb at a pretty steep angle, so much so that gravity isn't really helping your fuel flow as much as it does on the ground.  Combining near maximum fuel flow, with less gravity assistance may just be testing you fuel flow capability.  Maybe this is another advantage for canards :-)
