Good point,  I never used synthetic.  Too expensive in the quantities I burn  : )

The synthetic 2-stroke will settle out, I have seen this in plastic jugs.

The other thing that no one is talking about is the loss of octane rating when fuel has premix. This is a concern in 2-stroke due to detonation, maybe not a concern with rotarys.
