Hi
John;
I had these same symptoms last winter and finally bit the
bullet and removed the front cover which is a bit of a challenge to do with the
engine mounted, but not impossible (on my mount, anyways). Sure enough, I had
the blown front cover o-ring problem. It was easily changed and corrected for by
the method described in the Bruce Turrentine video. However as you've just had
your engine rebuilt by Bruce, I'd expect it should be good, although sometimes
s*** happens to the best of us. I'd recommend a phone call to him and tell him
the pressures/temp/rpm that you are seeing.

front cover gasket.
Thanks, Dave. Just what I wanted to hear
:(
There's no sign of any oil
leaks. So... how can you tell if you
have a bad front cover gasket?
