Steve - Yes, I was hoping for year end...but I still have a week or so of
electrical to finish (waiting for my intercom to come back from RST
Engineering). Then, I'm also STILL waiting for my exhaust manifold to
come back from the welder. He does great work and he's free - but I'm
about to the point that I'll pay anything just so I can start my
engine!!! I got my EM-2 from Tracy last week and now it's all wired up and
working. I just have to do some calibration and check-outs.
Then there is finishing. I still have the top of the wings, strakes,
and canard to finish - and then paint. So, since I seem to be where
you were at in January of last year and it still took you 4-5 months -
I guess an objective observer would estimate 4-5 months to complete
(just don't tell me that cuz I keep tell'in myself it's only another
month or so). ;-)
But it's the reports from you, John, Paul Conner, etal that keep me
plodding forward!
Thanx,

Joe,
Thanks for the encouragement. How far away from flying are you ? I
seem to
remember that you were hoping for around year end.
