Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: No Start

Disconnect the fuel pump. There should be
an electrical connection just above the fuel tank accessible from the
back. THere is also a fuel pump relay under the dash, but I found
it easier to find the connector in the back. Pull the plugs, crank
briefly to clean rotar combustion area. Squirt in a little transmission
fluid or engine oil (I can not remember which I used, probably transmission
fluid). Replace plugs. Crank engine briefly to regain
compression. Reconnect the fuel pump electricals. ( The prefer
method is to have a helper reconnect the fuel pump electrical connection
while cranking, but I was working alone.) Start up the engine. Do
not do this in a closed garage. Smoke everywhere.
This worked for me in 2 cases. One a rapid
shutdown as described by you and in another case where the car sat in a
parking lot for several months.
Other than barking my knuckles removing the
plugs, this fix worked easily.
