Our Lancair Dukes 2 speed fuel boost pumps have written on their side, along with the PMA: "intermittent use only"

I firmly believe that using Marvel Mystery Oil regularly at 4 oz's @ 10 gallons of 100LL will lubricate this much used pump, thereby extending its life. Without the boost pump in the IV-P, at altitude, you are in for trouble.

Believe it also lubricates the upper cylinders. Beneficial, all around.
