John,
You have duplicated my baggage compartment. I have the same shelf running back. I also made a hard shell duct to replace the large flex hose connected to the NACA scoop for cabin air. I also incorporated a hinged door just above the hydo pump to keep the rear shelf safely closed off if not used. 15 lbs should be the maximum weight aft of the hydro pump.  BTW, lets do some flying during June-July
