After reading the summary of performance that Aaron May described while discussing A/C installation in the "big" airplanes some of you guys fly, I feel compelled to extol the virtues of the little 235 model, with an 0-290 installed. I just installed a Light Speed Engineering electronic ignition system and my trip to Sun & Fun was my first opportunity to check it out on a long trip. I gained approximately 30 minutes of flight time with the new system which gives me 5 hours at around 7.5 gph and 175/180 mph TAS. What a nice little economical x-c bird!! P.S. I operate out of 6800 ft field elevation in Co Spgs, so the new ignition system is a great help. Pat Halloran
