Gentlemen:

The builder who completed my IV-P did not install any static wicks and my
avionics tech is telling me that I need to put the wick kit from Lancair on
as my EFIS is suffering static ills.

My question is whether doing this after the fact will adversely effect control surface balance and hence do I have any risk of flutter?
