I've been cycling the gear in preparation for first flight and my inboard
gear doors begin to close as soon as I select the gear up position. They
stop moving after about 30 degrees of rotation. Naturally, this blocks
the main gear from entering the wheel wells. I've double check the
hydraulic schematics and everything seems in order.
I'm guessing that the problem is leakage in the sequence values. As soon
as the gear up position is selected, the high pressure side is leaking
through the sequence value and pressuring the low pressure side against the
inboard gear cylinder, resulting in the small movement. The movement stops
when the low pressure side equalizes with the leak throught the sequence
valve.
Has anyone experienced these gear symptoms? Is so, is it likely to be the
sequence valve? Are the sequence valves repairable or must they be
replaced?
