If you are ever in Seattle, go by Boeing Surplus, they are in the phone
book. They sell Drill Bushings for what they weigh. Last year when we went
to the Northwest Regional EAA Fly-In I made the run down to see what I
could not live without (at the price). They had just dropped a 150 gallon
container of mostly brand new piloted drill bits from #40 to 3/8. I bought
a lifetime supply for about $12. These surplus outlets are where the
Fly-Market vendors buy a lot of their wares. I consider it a tax refund and
this stuff is the best too.
Next time you are at one of the larger fly-ins its worth rooting thru the
junk. I have picked up pneumatic drills (straight and angle), a rivet gun,
bucking bars, reamers, heat shrink, silicone baffleing material, etc, that
you don't need very often but when you do its a real problem solver.
