Its a variation of the reccomended set up by the mfg.. Attach an almost vertical 1/8"x3/4" steel strap leg to the most convenient oil sump bolt. Attach this to a rubber strap supplied by a generic auto exhaust hangar with several #10 bolts to get a solid attachment. Cut off the single 1/4" brad that attaches the steel strap with the rounded part that fits the top of a exhaust pipe and secure with several (3 or 4) #10s. Attach the rounded strap to the exhaust with a ss hose clamp. Now for the critical part, attach a 3/8" tube (I used stainless) from the left to the right lower hanger with a single #10 bolt loose enough to move easily. The tube should be fitted last so the holes can be drilled with no binding of the bolts. Use high temp lock nuts on the cross tube. This has worked for the last 500 hours, previous more elegant designs lasted less than 50 hours.
