I know someone on this list can answer this question for me. I'm new to the
experimental side of aviation and don't know much about what the FAA
requires of us. After the airworthiness cert. has been issued for an
experimental aircraft, can major modifications be made to the airframe and /
or engine without filing a 337? For example, recently someone spotted an
experimental aircraft with a torpedo looking snow ski carrier bolted to the
belly. They stated that the 337 form was displayed right on the side of the
ski carrier for everyone to see.  From a FAR standpoint, is the 337 form and
/ or FAA approval required? Thanks in advance for your help.
