Last Sept. at the fly-in, Don ("the" Don) told me that it is the company's policy to give transition training in the customer's plane now that they have no company 360. That appears to be the only option. One more problem/question: You can get coverage for the first 10 hours and landings for the 360 from Avemco. However, they do not cover bodily injury for someone else in the plane, other than the pilot, during phase 1. To those of you who have flown with an instructor for a few hours during phase 1, how have you handled this? Have you just taken the risk? Mike Reinath 360 Std.
