I went through my garage this past weekend and organized a few things I
want to "clean out". I intend to sell the following items, and thought I
would put them on the list before ebaying them... These prices do NOT
include shipping.
1. Brand new, stainless steel, tuned (crossover) exhaust system for a
Lycoming 360, ceramic coated. I purchased this for my plane, and found
out it doesn't fit the 200 hp engine... My loss, your gain. Brand new,
never mounted. Purchased from Aircraft Spruce and then ceramic coated.
Includes ball joint but not the muffler or straight pipes. My cost:
$1,175 total ($575 from Spruce + $600 for coating (black in color)). Will
sell for $700 (i.e. you get the coating almost free). This unit is NEW
and beautiful.
2. Magnetos: I have two Slick magnetos for a Lycoming. These INCLUDE
the plug leads. They are Slick model 4370. One says LH-2507, one says RH
2507. New price: over $550 each; I'll sell for $300 each (core value is
$150 without leads). They worked when removed from the engine, but are
sold AS IS.
3. Complete Bendix fuel injection system for a Lycoming 360. Includes
throttle body (model RSA 5AD1), fuel spider and all hard lines. SOLD AS
IS. I have never used this, but it was removed from my IO 360 A1-B6 when
I purchased it. It looks to be in excellent condition, and I was told
that it was working in another plane when I purchased the engine and
converted to electronics... You could convert a carbureted engine to fuel
injection with these components. Make me and offer, otherwise I'll e-bay
it.
4. Positech oil cooler #4215: I used this cooler for about 1 hour then
removed to install a larger unit. This unit should work for a 180 or 160
hp engine, but I have a 200 hp engine and am also cooling a turbo, so it
didn't work for me. I will also include a very nicely made fiberglass
plenum I used on it. Aircraft Spruce price: $225. My price: $125.
5. Baffling material - I have two complete "kits" of the blue baffling
material in sheet form. Each kit includes a TON of the blue baffle
material (it is a large sheet) and also includes large head rivets, rivet
backing washers, and a bag of the little two-piece screws - whatever they
are called. One kit is from Aircraft Spruce - just the baffle material
sell for over $100. I'll sell the new, unused and complete "kit" for $60.
The other "kit" is from Gee-Bee. It is a brighter blue and I forget the
cost, but remember it was outrageous and way more than the aircraft spruce
stuff. I'll sell that one for $65 (I did cut off about 4" x 12", but
there is still a TON of it left, probably enough for two planes). Thanks,
Matt
