Byron:

A position dependent leak in a hydraulic cylinder is usually due to a
scratch, or other defect, in the bore. The problem could also be in the down
side pressure check valve or over pressure relief valve. Isolate the problem
by selectively capping the hydraulic lines to the actuators.
