I ran the idea past Orin and he liked it, too. The basic concept is to use a rubber exhaust hanger from a car. These have holes in them -- one at each end. One end can get bolted to an Adel clamp attached to the engine mount. The other end gets attached to the exhaust pipe somehow -- possibly to the clamp which holds the exhaust extensions to the headers. You do need to support the exhaust extensions or they are guaranteed to crack somewhere, but I think you already know this. You also have no place to attach it except to non-moving structure (firewall or engine mount) so you need a lot of compliance in the attachment mechanism. I can't give you any more details, because I haven't gone to the auto parts store and rummaged around.
